The semicircular mirror HM7799 is truly an impressive piece for your space's decoration! Its design is beautiful and simple, with a frame made of natural-colored sisal fibers and black Manila hemp fibers. A decorative mirror that will give a different aesthetic to your space and at the same time will be a beautiful focal point.
DIMENSIONS:
85x50H cm.
Distance from wall: 3 cm.
MATERIALS:
Apart from the mirror, the greater part of the mirror's frame is made from specially treated sisal fibers. Sisal (Agave sisalana) is a species of flowering plant native to southern Mexico, but now widely cultivated in many other countries. Its leaves yield a stiff fiber used in the manufacture of rope and various other products. The term sisal can refer to either the common name of the plant or the fiber, depending on the context. Sisal fiber is traditionally used for rope and twine and has many other uses, such as paper, cloth, footwear, hats, bags, carpets, geotextiles, etc. It is also used as a fiber reinforcement for composite products made of fiberglass, rubber, and concrete.
Also, Manila hemp fibers, also known as abaca, are a type of lustrous fiber obtained from Musa textilis (a relative of edible bananas), also called Manila hemp as well as abaca. Abaca is an extremely strong fiber, very expensive, and many times higher in price than wood pulp. The name refers to the capital of the Philippines, one of the main producers of Manila hemp. Cultivating abaca plants can reduce erosion, increase biodiversity, and enrich the soil. Finally, it is resistant to water and moisture.
MAINTENANCE:
All it needs is dusting and, when necessary, cleaning with a damp cloth.
