Refund policy
1. Return Deadline
You can return or exchange a product within 14 days from the delivery date. After the 14-day period has passed, a return or exchange is not possible, unless:
- The product is defective, or
- It does not correspond to its advertised appearance or functionality.
2. Return & Exchange Conditions
For a return or exchange to be accepted:
- The product must be unused and in its original condition.
- It must be in its original, undamaged packaging.
- It must be accompanied by the proof of purchase.
Products purchased with an invoice, as well as gift cards, are not accepted for return or replacement.
3. Return Procedure
- Contact us before returning the product. Returns without prior consultation will not be accepted.
- Ship the product to the address: M. Alexandrou 2B, Argos Orestiko, Kastoria, 52200, unless you are instructed otherwise.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective or incorrect.
- We recommend shipping with tracking or shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt without these.
4. Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect the product, you will be notified regarding the approval or rejection of your return.
- If approved:
- The refund will be processed to the original payment method within a few business days.
- In the event of an exchange, the new product is shipped at the customer's shipping expense.
5. Defective or Damaged Products
Upon delivery, inspect the product carefully before signing the delivery receipt. Open the packaging in the presence of the carrier and ensure that the product bears no damage or defect. If you detect any wear or damage, do not accept delivery and notify us immediately.
⚠️ After accepting delivery, the transport company is released from liability, and it henceforth burdens the recipient.
If the product is accepted and later found to be defective:
- Do not continue unpacking or proceed with its assembly (if assembly is required).
- Send an email to info@pkontopoulos.com within 1 business day of delivery.
- Include multiple photos clearly showing the damage or defect, as well as the exterior of the packaging.
- If the product requires assembly, specify which component the problem corresponds to, based on the assembly instructions.
- After approval:
- We will arrange for a replacement or
- a refund.
⚠️ Note: A delay of more than 24 hours in reporting or returning a defective product is considered an acceptance of the product as is.
6. Packaging Damage
- Inspect the package carefully upon delivery.
- If there is damage, refuse delivery and notify us immediately.
- Responsibility for damage during transport lies with the transport company.
- By accepting the shipment—for example, by signing the delivery receipt—the transport company is released from liability, and it henceforth burdens the recipient.
7. Refusal of Delivery
- If you refuse a cash-on-delivery (COD) delivery, you will be charged for all shipping costs (both outbound and return).
- The amount must be paid within 14 days of the order's return.
- In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to take any legal action.
- If payment was made in advance, the amount will be refunded minus the shipping costs.
- Customers who have refused delivery in the past cannot use cash-on-delivery for future orders.
8. Gifts
If the product was a gift and the order was originally shipped to the gift giver, the refund will be issued to the gift giver.
9. Late Refunds
If you have not received your refund after the expected timeframe:
- Check your bank account.
- Contact your credit card company.
- Contact your bank.
- If the issue is still not resolved, please contact us.
