With the mercury "climbing" higher and higher, thoughts of beaches, food and drinks by the sea, as well as walks with friends multiply every day in our minds. To transform your balcony into something minimal yet classic, a metal garden table and chairs set (in classic colors like white and black or bold ones like green and purple) and some plants (real or artificial ) in pots will give your balcony the desired bistro style. To further enhance the classic character of this style, you can also lean an old-style wooden shutter or a wooden ladder against one of the walls.

Balcony... or living room?

A particularly popular option is to convert the balcony into a second living room . All you need is a sofa (its size will depend on the available space and how many people you intend to host) and a coffee table , ideally made of natural wood. Alternatively, you can purchase poufs and stools for a more casual style. Combine this furniture with lanterns and hanging strips of lights to give a fairy-tale touch to your balcony.
